I've called Kerry, Kennedy, and Meehan, and the State Dept. The White House line is busy.

Of course the White House line is busy. Bush is on the phone with God.
I am 28 percent control freak. Surprising, really: I've always thought the world would be a much better place if everyone did it MY WAY.
I can't go tonight. Knit a stitch for me. See you apres-Maine (we leave Saturday for two weeks).
